Hola, Every year at the end of the college year we do a degree show to show of our degree year students work they have done over their course and their artistic process, there was meant to be a in person degree show but this had to be cancelled in favour of a virtual show as lockdown restrictions were introduced. For everyone's safety we decided to try a virtual show allowing us to continue the show, this was done using www.artsteps.com. We had a few issues with this as it was struggling to run on phones and having an extra step of having to download an app to view the degree show. This year we have tried to mitigate any extra steps to make the viewing experience of the show easier.
This year for the 2021 Degree Show we will be using www.kunstmatrix.com, Kunstmatrix offers Art.Spaces a tool that lets us create beautiful 3D presentations of our art to show to art lovers, family and friends in a 3D virtual exhibition on the web. And Art.Augmented provides the ability to preview the works in any space as an augmented reality app.
Within the degree show we will be showing off a selection of work from our 3rd & 4th year students with included links to let you view more of their work on their instagram of portfolio websites
We have a large number of artists with talents in different mediums like photography, illustration, video editing and animation and many more we can't wait to show.
